We came to the restaurant last night (29/9/10) and it was 6.30 and the place was busy. We had tickets to see a show and so wanted to get a meal before 8. We found the place purely by chance and we were so happy. The manager (I presume) did his upmost to get us a table, after a 2 minute wait we were seated and he had taken our order. The wine arrived swiftly and was poured. The ambiene of the place was fantastic and the food out of this world. Wouldve appreciated more smiles on the waiting staff- but busy night this can be overlooked. Now subscribed to this site as I would go back weekly! The price for 2 courses and a bottle of house wine was fabulous, especially with such wonderful food. Thank you so so much!

Thank you so much for making our Ruby Wedding Anniversary celebration in September 2010 feel special. The food, service and ambience was excellent as has always been our experience on several previous occasions. We look forward to many future visits. The Scales family.

As always very lovely atmosphere and fantastic food

Yesterday evening, we were looking for somewhere to eat in Nottingham, a place with which we are not familiar. We were turned away from one restaurant and found Petit Paris, which looked very busy. However, a table was found that was booked a little later. With that minor constraint, we were admirably looked after, with swift and efficient service and a fine meal all round. Our son, whose birthday meal it was, thoroughly enjoyed it, commenting that it was was 'just like being in France'. We will surely be back, but will definitely book next time. 11/10/2009

Just looking on the site and can't believe it is 10 years since you changed your name - we have been coming for the pre-theatre dinner for well over 12 years and the food is always delicious - just about to book for April! Pam and Michael

August 2010. As we were both graduates of Nottingham University from the 1950's who had recently met up again, when we decided to get married it just had to be in Nottingham. We wanted a relaxed, friendly, mid-day meal afterwards for a party of 20 guests and decided on the Petit Paris through a friend's advice together with a trawl through comments on the web. Result - absolutely fabulous!! We were offered the use of a section of the restaurant amongst other lunch-time diners and the whole atmosphere was truly great. (A separate room is also available, but was in use by another party.) The standard lunch-time menu was available and all of the guests remarked on the high standard of the 'bistro' style food - whilst the overall cost was extremely reasonable. The service could not be faulted. Having also sampled the evening meal on the previous night we would both give Petit Paris the very highest of ratings in its class. Patricia & Dick

My husband took me for a meal at Petit Paris on Sunday 30th Aug 09 for our wedding anniversary. The food, the wine and the whole atmosphere were outstanding. This was the best meal I have had in a very long time and I have been in the restaurant trade for over 4 years. EXCELLENT, RECOMMENDED 08/2009

I celebrated my retirement from Nottingham University on Saturday 30th January 2010 at Petit Paris. There were 16 of us and we had the most marvellous time. The food was exceptional and the service was first class. We had the raised area to ourselves and they really looked after us and made the evening very special. Thank you.30/01/10
